It all started when...

The Greenback Surf Club began in 1967 by a group of friends who surfed Fort Lauderdale Beach and other breaks along the Florida coast. The Greenback Surf Club promoted surfing in South Florida by sponsoring surf films, organizing surf contests, petitioning the city for beach access to surf areas, civic activities, and the camaraderie of surfing with friends.

Though the years have change the blond hair to grey, and surfing trips now include children and wives, the Greenback Surf Club has remained active and members still share the same friendship, camaraderie, and care for one another.
